1) Red light is different than blue light, because it reflects a different color, and it has different wavelengths, blue is shorter, red is longer.
2) Astronomers use one form of electromagnetic energy, or visible light, to see what element is inside of a star. They also use radio waves to direct them at planets, and measure how far the distance is from earth. The last one they use is visible light to see if an object is moving torward or away from Earth. (red for torwards, blue for away)
